Gauchos split with Paradise Valley.

In game one, the Gauchos fell to the Pumas 10-9 on the final play of the game. The Gauchos lost despite out-hitting the Pumas. The Gauchos flipped the game on its head in the top of the second, scoring 7 runs on 5 hits to take the lead 7-1. Paradise Valley took the lead, 10-9 in the bottom of the seventh inning to win it all. The Gauchos accumullated 12 hits in the game. Sophomore Jade Mineer led the Gauchos by going 3 for 3, with a double and three runs batted in. Sophomore Cassiah Romero had 2 hits with a double. Sophomore Taylor James had a triple and 2 walks. Sophomore Priscilla Armendariz went 3 for 4 with 2 stollen bases.

In game two, the Gauchos won 15-0 in 5 innings. Sophomore Azalea Mendez stepped in the circle for the Guchos and pitched all 5 innings and allowed only 3 hits to the Pumas, earning her first win of the season. The Gauchos lineup scored 3 runs in the first, 1 run in the second, 9 runs in the third, 1 run in the fourth and 1 run in the fifth inning. The Gauchos piled up 18 hits in the game. Sophomore Chloe Saiz went 3 for 3 with a double and 5 RBIs. Freshman Zerianna Gomez went 3 for 4 with a triple and 3 RBIs. Freshman Sammantha Hughes went 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 RBIs. Sophomores Hailey Chandler, Priscilla Armendariz, Taylor James and Freshman Taylor Agaman each collected multiple hits for the Gauchos.
