Ortiz started the week with a four-hit game with three RBIs against Arizona Christian JV on Monday before adding three more RBIs to his total in a 2-for-4 performance against Mesa. Ortiz homered on Wednesday and smacked his second of the week in a win over GateWay on Friday.

Hayden King -Glendale – King struck out eight batters in his lone start of the week, helping the Gauchos to a 7-3 win over GateWay on Friday afternoon. King allowed two earned runs in six innings, walking just one batter.
