A native of southern California, I moved to Arizona in 2013 to attend Grand

Canyon University. I graduated from GCU in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic

Training. In May of 2019, I graduated with a Master of Science in Exercise Science and

Health Promotion with concentration in Rehabilitation Sciences from California

University of Pennsylvania. During that time, I also obtained the certification of

Corrective Exercise Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Since graduating from GCU in 2017, I have worked at Glendale Community

College. I started as part-time and became the full-time Assistant Athletic Trainer in the

fall of 2018. In addition, I am an adjunct professor at GCC and a clinical preceptor for

both Northern Arizona University’s and Grand Canyon University’s athletic training

education programs.

I have a motto I like to live by and that is “Get better every day.” My daily

objective is to learn something that will make me a better or smarter person; because of

this mindset, I have a constant drive to learn. Learning new techniques and treatments, I

aim to make our student athlete’s return to sport as safe and as quick as possible.

However, at GCC, we do not just treat our student-athlete’s physical injuries. Instead, we

care for their overall well being; always striving to be better than we were before.

Growing up playing sports, I have become a fanatic. During my free time, I enjoy

watching many sports, most commonly hockey and baseball. With my roots in southern

California, I am a fan of the Los Angeles Kings and Los Angeles Angels. Having lived in

two very sunny states, I also have a love for the outdoors. Be it enjoying the ocean breeze

in Huntington Beach, the smell of pine and fresh air while hiking in northern Arizona, or

a Gaucho athletics event, I will find a way to be outside. GO GAUCHOS!
