Glendale Community College volleyball stayed at 12th in the latest NJCAA Division 2 rankings. The Gauchos won their only contest last week, a 3-1 victory over Pima College. After dropping the first set, the Gauchos rallied and proceeded to win the next three, holding the Aztecs to under 19 points in all three sets. The win put the Gauchos at 11-3 on the overall, 5-1 in ACCAC play.

The Gauchos have two contests this week, starting on Wednesday, October 8th when they host Scottsdale Community College. The Gauchos currently hold a 1 game lead over the Artichokes, who are currently ranked 19th amongst NJCAA D2 programs. The previous matchup saw the Gauchos sneak out the win in five sets. On Friday, October 10th the Gauchos will travel to South Mountain Community College. In the previous matchup against the Cougars, the Gauchos won in four sets. Both matches are scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
