That is followed by a rare early-morning trip to play Paradise Valley Community College. The women will match up with the Pumas at 9 a.m. on Sept. 11, while the men will follow at 9 a.m. on Sept. 12.
From there, the Gauchos come back home to play Mesa Community College on Sept. 15 and Pima Community College on Sept. 19. Following a trip to Scottsdale Community College on Sept. 22, Glendale finishes out the month by hosting Chandler-Gilbert Community College on Sept. 26 and Phoenix College on Sept. 29. All sets of home matches are slated for 5:30 and 7:45 p.m. first kicks.
As the calendar turns to October, Glendale faces six matches in a span of 21 days to conclude the regular season. The stretch run starts on Oct. 3 with a trip to GateWay CC. An afternoon start to that doubleheader sees the men’s team kick off at 1:30 p.m., followed by the women’s match at 3:45 p.m. The final two home matches are on Oct. 6 against Paradise Valley CC and Oct. 17 against Scottsdale CC. Those matches will begin at 5 p.m. for the men and 7:15 p.m. for the women. The road schedule concludes with trips to Mesa CC on Oct. 10, Pima CC on Oct. 13, and Chandler-Gilbert CC on Oct. 24.
The top four teams in the ACCAC Division II standings at the conclusion of the regular season will advance to the conference semifinals. Those matches will be held on Oct. 29 for the men and Oct. 30 for the women. The conference championship matches are Nov. 3 for the men and Nov. 4 for the women. If Glendale either wins the ACCAC or earns an at-large bid to the national tournament, that will be held from Nov. 15-21 in Huntsville, Ala.
