August 29th - Mens Soccer Home Game against South Mountain CC.

The Gauchos came out to play as they scored 11 goals against the South Mountain Community College Cougars. It was a complete game defensively, possessive, as well as attacking.

In the First Half, the Gauchos had  2 goals from Nelson Gomez Rodriguez in the first 7 minutes of play.

Afterwards, still in the First Half, goals came from: Josue Hernandez (x2), Nicholas Armenta Valdez and Rogelio Rodriguez. That gave the Gauchos a 6-0 Half-Time lead.

From there, the Gauchos scored 5 goals in the Second Half that were scored by: Alhaji Lawo, Alan Mendoza Ramirez, Christopher Ayala, Joel Saavedra and an Own Goal.

The assists for the night were given credit to: Cesar Morquecho, Jason Almanza, Josue Hernandez (x2), Alan Mendoza Ramirez, Joel Saavedra (x2) and Alhaji Lawo (x2).

It was a complete team effort from the Gauchos! Our next game will be the first away game of the season against the Scottsdale Community College Artichokes, which is our first Conference Game of the season as well.
