Glendale Community College Golf Team placed 2nd at the South Mountain Classic, played at the Legacy Golf Resort, on April 12-13, 2021.
The Gauchos' team score was -2, led by Landon Herndon (T2), Tristian Fuller (T7), and Garrett Auger (T7).
Said Coach Leo Maes: "These guys were competing for two spots this week to play at regionals. They could have made it personal but instead they came together closer as a team. These guys are golfers, point blank."
The Gauchos tee it up next on April 19 & 20 at the Paradise Valley Invitational at the Gainey Ranch G.C. in Scottsdale.
